The Intramural squad hosted a public debate last night with the topic: Edward Snowden: Hero of the People or National Traitor? This weekend the policy debate squad traveled to the University of West Georgia debate tournament. In novice speaker awards Eran Del Castillo got 3rd and Stephanie Cone got 1st. In varsity speaker awards Jon Prescott got 5th. The gators received first place in novice and second place in varsity.

Back before we all left Gainesville for the holidays, the team gathered for our annual holiday party and Secret Santa. There was great food and awesome, thoughtful gifts were exchanged.
Last night the Speech and Debate team had our annual Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner. Everyone made great food and we came together to eat turkey and hang out as a giant speech and debate family. It was a lot if fun and the food was great. Thank you to Leah for hosting us!
