This weekend the policy debaters traveled to the University of Georgia tournament. In novice, One team made it to octofinals. In JV Simon and Vas made it to quarterfinals and Simon got the 6th speaker award.
The Intramural squad hosted a public debate last night with the topic: Edward Snowden: Hero of the People or National Traitor? Back before we all left Gainesville for the holidays, the team gathered for our annual holiday party and Secret Santa. There was great food and awesome, thoughtful gifts were exchanged.
Last night the Speech and Debate team had our annual Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner. Everyone made great food and we came together to eat turkey and hang out as a giant speech and debate family. It was a lot if fun and the food was great. Thank you to Leah for hosting us!
